Sensory Overload. Our ultimate guide to indulging the five senses in Las Vegas. Of all the restaurants opened in Vegas in the past year, there isn't one that's more pleasing to the eye than LAVO at The Palazzo. Design by AvroKO, an intergrate design and concept firm (read: they make hyper cool first-date places -even if your date is from the future), LAVO is accented by 20-foot ceilings of aged timber, dilicately filgreed chandeliers hung low from the ceiling and an entry lounge that's bounded by dramatic brickwork and water-stained plaster. But the piece de resistance (read: the place to propose to your date from the future) is a spectacular glass-and wood-screened bridge flanked by 16 anitque sinks that are constantly being filled by 32 brass faucets. It's more than eye catching; it's eye kidnapping. This weekend LAVO is celebrating it's one-year-anniversary with a party to end all parties. Bring your future date, and perhaps you'll end up in the next section of our guide.
